Sitting with clients during the Foodbank session Listening to them and allow them space to talk Be a welcoming and comforting presence Help them pack and sort their Food Parcel Signpost where appropriate and where you’re able |

Joining volunteer admin team supporting with the vetting and recruitment of new volunteers Following up on new applicants and passing details onto team leaders |

Role description: |
Prepare food parcels for collection and for delivery using the standard packing lists Keep warehouse area clean and tidy at all times, checking for evidence of pests and notifying the warehouse manager if there are any concerns Report any health & safety or safeguarding concerns to the project manager |

Role title: Delivery Driver Citywide & Local |
Role description: |
Willing to deliver parcels to any part of the city Collecting Parcels from the main warehouse Heading to a certain sector of the city to drop off Food parcels to house bound clients in that area & attempt to have a short conversation Report back if you are unable to deliver or if there are any issues Message the Foodbank Manager to let them know you have completed all deliveries Return any undelivered parcels to the depot or hold onto them to return on your next volunteer day |
What skills do I need? |
Clean driving license Careful, courteous and competent driver Team player and personable Organised and self-motivated Capable of some heavy lifting Task focused and with good initiative Confident at using a Sat Nav or Google Maps |
