Another record-breaking week for us at Sheffield S6 Foodbank.
We share our figures to demonstrate just how much work is going on in our communities to support people, not because we’re proud of hitting such huge figures 😟
👉 Last week, we supported just under 6️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ households across the city, or just under 1️⃣7️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ people, distributing 1️⃣5️⃣ tonnes of food.
Adding in the 6 tonnes of food that we distributed on behalf of Sheffield City Council, the total distributed was equivalent to what you can see on this arctic lorry.
In just one week, in the summertime. Worrying times.
