Team City Grab Help Out at S6 Foodbank

To raise awareness for ‘National Foodbank Day’, last week local food delivery platform City Grab, spent the morning volunteering with us at S6 Foodbank.

Sacha Skinner, Marketing Manager at City Taxis and City Grab, said:

“It was extremely humbling visiting S6 Foodbank and not at all as the team had expected. The impressive size of the food store highlighted just how many hundreds of people the foodbank supports each week, and the resources required to keep the foodbank going. It was great to meet the fantastic team there and learn about all the services offered by the foodbank, as well as some manual labour helping to sort and pack the food!”

Chris Hardy, Foodbank Manager at S6 Foodbank, said:

“As the need for Foodbanks continuing to increase due to the cost of the living crisis, it’s great to have City Grab/City Taxis on board as a partner. With the help of City Grab/City Taxis, the people of Sheffield won’t go hungry this winter.”
